CAPI for Android Tablets and Smart Phones
Our solutions were extended with the software module that allows CAPI survey via tablets or smart phones with operating system Android.
This innovation gives many advantages to users and simplifies personal data collection in the field. Nothing is more convenient for the interviewer on the field than to reach in his pocket and take out a device the size of a palm and start interviewing.
The module is a version of the existing WARP-IT CAPI surveys and therefore does
not require any further introduction to working with the equipment for users that already
have newer versions of Warp-it.

Flash Eurobarometer 2013
From September 2011 RM plus is conducting regular public opinion survey Flash Eurobarometer for Slovenia. Flash Eurobarometers are ad hoc thematical telephone interviews conducted at the request of any service of the European Commission.
A Research of Image study, which analyzes the Quality of Services and Market Position of Slovenian Banks has been conducted by RM PLUS Since 1993. The study in 2012 is based on the opinions of 1000 randomly selected Slovenes that are personally interviewed every two years.
This Research Report summarizes different image and performance aspects of banks in the Slovenian market: customers’ loyalty and usage habits, banks’ market share and marketing activities, quality of services, and their grown potential.
Beside the written report which includes numerical and graphical presentations of the results, we also made available a new internet tool called WEB report, which allows users to browse through the results in the interactive manner.
The remainder of the report shows main highlights of our findings focusing on the reasons why customers choose to switch their primary bank.
Results show that in last two years 5% of all banks’ customers have changed their primary bank, which represents about 20% increase relative to 2007.
We observed that clients are becoming increasingly sensitive to the costs of banking services. For example, the most important reasons for changing bank are favorable interest rates, fees and costs, followed by the ability to obtain a loan. The results also shows that customers are much less sensitive to employee’s attitude, slow service, mistakes and irregularities, and long waiting lines.
Qualitative Eurobarometer summary reports
From year 2000 we are conducting Qualitative Eurobarometer for Slovenia. The qualitative studies investigate in-depth the motivations, the feelings, the reactions of selected social groups towards a given subject or concept, by listening and analyzing their way of expressing themselves in discussion groups or with non-directive interviews.
The Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey (BEEPS)
The Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey (BEEPS) is a joint initiative of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the World Bank Group (WB). Our company RM PLUS has been commissioned to conduct the survey in Slovenia since 2002.
The BEEPS is an enterprise survey whose objective is to gain an understanding of firms’ perception of the environment in which they operate. The survey was until now administered three times at three years interval. This has added an important element of dynamics in the study of business environment in transition countries.
With time the scope of the BEEPS has increased to incorporate more firms, thus increasing the statistical power of the survey’s findings. The survey was first undertaken in 1999 – 2000, when it was administered to approximately 4000 enterprises in 26 countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia (including Turkey). In 2002 the BEEPS was administered to approximately 6500 enterprises in 27 countries (including Turkey but excluding Turkmenistan). In 2005 the BEEPS was administered to approximately 9,500 enterprises in the region in the year 2005, some of which were the same enterprises which participated in the 2002 round of the BEEPS.
The fourth round of BEEPS (“BEEPS IV”) has been implemented by the EBRD and the WB in 2008. The 2008 survey was restructured to improve cross-country comparability and to make it compatible with the Enterprise Surveys the Enterprise Analysis Unit of the World Bank has been implementing in the past two years in other regions of the world.
The BEEPS IV aims to achieve the following objectives: - To provide feedback from enterprises on the state of the private sector in client countries, - To provide statistically significant business environment indicators that are comparable across countries, - To assess the constraints to private sector growth and enterprise performance, - To build a panel of enterprise data that will make it possible to track changes in the business environment over time, - To stimulate systematic policy dialogue on the business environment and to help shape the agenda for reform.
Special Eurobarometer results reveal: woman in EU is still mainly responsible for domestic chores in the household
European Comission has launched the first results on November Special Eurobarometer, covering issues of European social reality: life satisfaction, family life and social relations, work, leisure time, social security and politics. For Slovenia, the survey has been carried out by RM PLUS in a period from 17.11.2006 till 10.12.2006.
Results show that Slovenians often share the views of other Europeans, but some significant differences still remain: however domestic chores are woman's responsibility in all the countries, Slovenia ranks very low among other countries regarding labour division in the household.
The survey showed also some positive aspects of life in Slovenia comparing with other countries: Respondents in Slovenia are happier and more satisfied with their lives that average European, we rate our schools and childcare facilities above average in EU, we also rate our work as less stressful and among all countries in the survey we feel at least of all left out of the society. This and more information you can find in the Special Eurobarometer report published on EC website.
